The combination of the blue green in chrysocolla and crimson in cuprite create the sonora sunset gem. Serving as the heart of these earrings, a narrow trapezoid cut is secured by 18k yellow gold prongs. Round brilliant cut diamonds produce a glittering light on the upper and lower end of the gem. A gold disk overlapped with a square of diamonds supports the entire design. The total weights of the gems are 0.3 carats of diamonds and 2 carats of sonora sunsets. Post-backs ensure closure to the earrings, which measure 0.52 inches (width) by 1.94 inches (length).
