The opalescent sheen of Akoya and Tahitian pearls is laced with the brilliance of gold. A strand of 18k yellow gold surges around an arrangement of deep gray, silver, another deep gray and white pearls that gradually descend in size. Slender wires give volume for the impression of golden fabric. Next to each pearl is a single brilliant cut diamond for a final touch of radiance. Clip-backs attach the earrings. The total weight of the diamonds is .53cts and 39.68 carats of Akoya and Tahitian pearls. The earring measures 25.64 mm (1.01 inches) side and 53.7 mm (2.11 inches) long.
