Satin radiance of South Sea pearls enclose this necklace. 41 South Sea pearls are strung on coordinating thread, graduating larger in size towards the center of the arrangement. A knot protects each 11.8 by 9.2 mm pearl. Grown in saltwater oysters, South Sea pearls have thick coats of nacre, producing their unique shimmer. These are highly rare pearls, in particular round shaped, and grow the largest of all other cultured pearls. An 18k yellow gold knot and toggle secures the 18 inch long necklace.
