Inspired by the scalloped shells of the ocean,cacholong is carved to illustrate these. Detailing includes indentations and descending curved edges. An 18k yellow gold braid revolves to define the whorl, while finishing to a bezel set 7mm radiant pink tourmaline. Total weight of the gems are 2 carats of cacholong and 2.7 carats of tourmalines. Clip-backs secure the earrings, which measures 0.97 inches (width) by 1.18 inches (length) by 0.87 inches (depth).
