The kaleidoscopic iridescence of opal is the basis of these 18k yellow gold drop earrings. Carved into an asymmetrical contour, the gem is secured by 18k yellow gold claws. Suspending beneath is a tapered carving of opal, also asymmetrical, topped with a single brilliant cut diamond for a soft glimmer. This lower part of the earrings is removable. Each carving of opal displays its distinct and natural pattern. The total weight is 0.11 carats of 2 round brilliant cut diamonds. Clip-backs attach the earrings.
