The tropical fruit of pineapple is imagined from gold and madeira citrine. 18k yellow gold strands of both textured and smooth metal overlaps to form the checkered shell of the fruit, as madeira citrines glint inside each square. Gold leaves on the top and bottom are enriched with brilliant cut diamonds along the edges for an incandescing finishing touch. The total weight of the gems are 2.47 carats of diamonds and 41 carats of citrine. Measurements for the brooch are 1.51 inches (width) by 3.52 inches (length) by 0.82 inches (depth).
