A smooth sphere of amethyst is held by a gold wire within and protected by two vertical 18k yellow gold loops. Direct light lifts a true purple from the 12.5mm crystal, while the shadows showcase a deep raspberry color. Above and below the loops are triangular-shaped wires. From the upper triangular-shaped wire is a round link for the pendant to descend from a matching 18-inch gold chain. The total weight is 1 carat of amethyst. Measurements for the necklace are 0.48 inches (width) by 0.83 inches (length) by 0.52 inches (depth).
