Surrounding the jewel are platinum leaves, which are embellished with brilliant cut diamonds. 18k yellow gold serves as the midrib of the leaves as well as winding curls extending from the leaves for a whimsical accent. The total weight of the jewels are 4.57 carats of brilliant cut diamonds and 22.27 carats of peridots. Clip-backs attach the earrings, which measure 1.26 inches (width) by 1.45 inches (length) by 0.36 inches (depth).
