Gemstones illustrate a polished snail shell. Cacholong is carved in an asymmetrical teardrop shape as the base. An 18k yellow gold braid rotates in a coil for definition of the shell, while drawing the eye to a lapis lazuli in the center for a finishing touch. The total weights are 2 carats of cacholong and 0.85 carats of lapis lazuli. Clip-backs attach the earrings, which measure 0.94 inches (width) by 1.22 inches (length) by 0.98 inches (depth).
