Atop the black jade is a bezel-set oval carving of moonstone, emitting its unique iridescence, known as adularescence. The total weight is 49.34 carats of 2 white oval moonstones measuring 25 mm by 18 mm and 42.42 carats of 2 special-cut black jades. Clip-backs secure the earrings.
