In jewelry, there are a few items that are essential to have, and then there are extras, that you may or may not choose to have. Whether you are a serious jewelry person or a light wearer, you must have those few essential items in your everyday jewelry box. These particular items are suitable to go with a workday outfit as well as after office outfit. In other words, these items are your throw-on with casuals, formals and fancy outfits, any day, every day. Let’s take a look at the most popular everyday jewelry styles that you should have in your treasure box.
Everyday Wear Jewelry and Their Popularity Stats
A survey report published some time back stated that only 47% of the women wear bracelets regularly, whereas for earrings, the percentile bumps up to 87%. Clear as daylight, whether or not you own a bunch of bracelets, a handful of earrings is mandatory. Next comes pendants and necklaces that about 64% of the women wear every day. As for fancy rings, 53% of the women’s population in the country wear fancy rings regularly, and that may include engagement rings, wedding rings and promise rings.
Earring Styles by Popularity
According to the same survey, there are three dominant styles of earrings that women said they like to wear on an everyday basis. They are, studs, hoops and drop earrings. While 87% of the women voted for studs, only 38 and 37% voted for hoops and drop earrings respectively. So, concluding from the numbers, what you must have in your possession is studs that you can wear and change through the days of the week. Styles of studs are quite a few in number. So, which one to focus on particularly? I’d personally recommend diamond studs, solitaires and clusters alike. They are so versatile that you can’t just afford to not have some, if you like your fashion dynamism to show. For me, they make life easy. They can be worn with everything, they are easy to wear and are never unappreciated even in a crowd of gorgeously dressed people.
Gems and Jewelry
When women were asked what kind of jewelry they like to have stones in, the answer came in a half-and-half proportion. 63% said they like their earrings to feature colored stones, while 51% spoke in favor of colored fashion rings. 46% said they like colored gems in their necklaces and pendants while a 34% said they are likely to wear colored stone bracelets.
