One easy way to achieve a great layering look is to throw a bar necklace in the mix. Bar necklaces are chic, they are short and very much in trend right now. Gold, silver, platinum, rose gold, pick whatever you like and add it to the layer. It will always stand out from the rest. If you do not like your bar necklace to be without details, add an engraving of a name, word, letter, anything you like to make it a little more interesting.
